Nomado may collect and store the following information, depending on the features you use:

• Account information, such as email address, username, user tag, profile photo, and authentication identifiers.
• User content, such as posts, comments, stories, profile details, trip plans, collaborative itineraries, messages, photos, and videos that you create or upload.
• Travel and location-related information, such as places, destinations, trip dates, selected points of interest, and location metadata included in uploaded media.
• Device and app interaction information needed to operate Firebase, App Check, Google Maps, Google Places, media upload, and authentication features.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Show posts, stories, comments, trips, messages, and collaborative itinerary content inside the app.
• Upload, store, and display photos, videos, profile images, and trip media.
• Support maps, destination search, places search, and travel planning features.
• Improve app reliability, security, abuse prevention, and basic app functionality.

Third-Party Services

Nomado uses third-party services to provide core functionality:

• Firebase Authentication for sign-in and account authentication.
• Cloud Firestore for app data such as profiles, posts, comments, trips, stories, messages, and itinerary content.
• Firebase Storage for uploaded images, videos, profile photos, post media, and story media.
• Firebase App Check for app integrity and abuse prevention.
• Google Maps and Google Places APIs for map, place search, and destination features.

Sharing

Content you post or share in Nomado may be visible to other app users according to the feature you use, such as feeds, comments, stories, trips, messages, or collaborative itineraries. We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party service providers listed above to operate the app.

Permissions

Nomado may request access to device features such as camera, media files, and location-related data when needed for app features. You can manage app permissions in your device settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

Nomado keeps account data and user-created content while your account is active or while the content is needed to provide app functionality. You may request account or data deletion through the developer contact listed above. After a deletion request is verified, associated account data and user-created content will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is required for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Security

Nomado relies on Firebase and Google Cloud security controls, Firebase security rules, encrypted network transport, and app integrity checks to help protect user data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Nomado is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the developer so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Nomado changes its features, data practices, or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
